About us
Carpet Junction is a Tasmanian-owned and operated family business. Steve and Jane Knibbs established the showroom at the Margate Train in 2006 and are proud of the fact that they can offer a complete solution for both homeowners and businesses.
Steve has had more than 35 years’ experience in the industry as both carpet buyer and salesman. Jane has had extensive experience in retail.
They have now built up a substantial Tasmania-wide business. With their combined experience in their favour, they made the decision to operate independently, rather than as part of a large franchise group. This allows them to be far more flexible in terms of their range of stock and, in particular, their pricing which is extremely competitive.
The business welcomes trade deals and relationships with builders and developers, but Jane and Steve concentrate on providing a friendly face and excellent service for individual home owners seeking advice about any kind of floor covering.
